Tyler Heart Institute Automated External Defibillator (AED) Program

The THI AED Program is dedicated to enhancing the community’s response to cardiac emergencies. We manage over 600 AEDs in Monterey County, providing organizational support, tracking, and financial resources to ensure their maintenance.

While we are no longer expanding our AED volume, organizations and groups in Monterey County can borrow one or more AEDs from the THI AED Program for large events at no cost, subject to availability. Reservations must be made in advance, and borrowers are responsible for scheduling pick-up and drop-off.
