Dr. Besser was drawn to the field of neurology because it requires a mix of intellectual curiosity, problem-solving skills, and use of cutting-edge technology. To that mix, he adds empathy and compassion, with the goals of improving his patients’ lives and making a lasting impact.
He specializes in using electromyography and electroencephalography, which measure electrical activity in the muscles and brain, respectively, to diagnose and treat neurological conditions.
Outside of patient care, Dr. Besser enjoys skiing, traveling, hiking, photography, and cooking.
