Craig Stauffer, MD, joined Montage Medical Group as a urologist in 2018 after completing his residency at Stanford University. Dr. Stauffer was born in New York City and grew up in Philadelphia before heading to Maryland to play collegiate lacrosse at St. Mary's College of Maryland. Prior to entering medical school at the University of Maryland, Dr. Stauffer completed research in transplant surgery at Cornell and Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Stauffer graduated medical school cum laude and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. While at Stanford, Dr. Stauffer completed the Stanford Biodesign Innovation Fellowship to understand a clinician’s role in the design and implementation of biomedical technologies. Dr. Stauffer practices all areas of urology but is particularly interested in stones, urologic devices, and the management of Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
