Wendy Arteaga, AG-ACNP, specializes in electrophysiology. She chose this complex and challenging path because she feels it is incredibly rewarding to help her patients maintain their confidence and high quality of life, while striving for minimal symptomatic disruptions. She defines quality healthcare as prompt, attentive care by well trained individuals working as a team and is passionate about making sure her patients’ concerns and apprehensions are addressed.
Wendy believes communication is essential to high quality patient care and takes the time to provide ongoing education specific to each patient’s needs. That said, she is most proud of her ability to explain medical issues and diffuse stress and fear. In her free time, Wendy loves getting outside for long walks with her dogs and vacationing with her family, which now includes grandchildren.
