Elizabeth Ayala

  • Master personal trainer

Elizabeth has a master’s degree in exercise science and health promotion with an emphasis in fitness, wellness and a dual concentration in rehabilitation science. Elizabeth is the clinical integration coordinator for Montage Wellness Center and specializes in multidisciplinary physical medicine and rehabilitation practice. She is certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). As a medical fitness professional for more than 10 years, Elizabeth has designed and implemented programs for hundreds of patients in a wide variety of populations, including first responders, law enforcement, professional athletes, cancer patients, people with work injuries, and individuals with acute, chronic pain.

Elizabeth’s fitness programs have a three-phase approach — mobility, functional movement, and strength training — that implement safe and effective long-term solutions to significantly improve fitness knowledge, function, and quality of life.

As a competitive marathon runner, Elizabeth believes that training is more like a marathon than a sprint. “You have to show up every day, not just when you feel like it,” she says. “Be patient and consistent.”

Elizabeth believes that everyone should have access to a long-term progressive training plan and delivers affordable self-guided plans for beginners to advanced clients.
