Kate Tomlinson

  • Massage therapist

Kate's massage therapy journey began at the age of 14, inspired by her time growing up on hospital bases during the Vietnam war. She recalls when she gave a wounded soldier a back rub and, in that moment, realized the power of touch. Kate is passionate about relieving the debilitating emotional and physical effects of stress through massage. She believes that by making her clients feel safe and calm, they are more relaxed and can receive massage therapy more effectively. Kate specializes in massage modalities including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point, as well as active and passive range of motion techniques, with most sessions incorporating a mixture of several modalities.

Kate is also certified by the California Massage Therapy Council, the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork, and the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals.
