Michael Parr

  • Personal trainer

I’ve been active all my life, from playing sports as a child to my time in the military. Throughout all of this I’ve learned the importance of exercise and its effect on our health and happiness. That’s why I attended California State University of Monterey Bay and earned my degree in Kinesiology with a concentration on Exercise Science. I have more than 3 years of experience as a personal trainer, working with all demographics and can find exercises for a person of any level. I have experience training youth and adult athletes through our sport performance course and by volunteering with local recruiting stations to help those looking to get in shape for military service.

My specialty is strength training and weight-loss. I can help you if you’re looking to increase your strength for the stamina of your daily activities, prevent or slow down age-related bone-loss, or simply increase the amount of weight you can lift for your squat, bench, deadlift or any other lift. I’ve lost and kept off losing 90+ pounds for over 4 years. I’ve helped other clients lose weight and build muscle with my diet & exercise programs.

Philosophy: The words that follow "I AM" follow you.
