Jessica (she, her, hers) is a licensed clinical social worker at Ohana. She grew up in Long Beach and previously worked in the California prison system reuniting children with their incarcerated parents. She worked for Monterey County Behavioral Health for seven years, with those in the juvenile justice system. She also served on the Monterey County Restorative Justice Commission and Juvenile Justice Commission. Jessica received her master’s degree in social work from the first graduating class at California State University, Monterey Bay and continues to stay connected with the university through the partnership with Ohana. Children are our future, and Jessica considers it an honor to work beside them and their families throughout their mental health journey. She enjoys gardening, visiting local farmers’ markets, going to the river on sunny days with her family, and loves homemade pasta.
