Her professional career launched with local organizations, including The Boys & Girls Club and Girls Inc. She is knowledgeable in the fields of autism and applied behavior analysis through her experience with Trumpet Behavioral Health. Karla has a master’s degree in social work from Arizona State University and is skilled in dialectical behavior therapy and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy. Outside of work, she enjoys a gorgeous sunset at the beach with her dog and hopes to someday learn a third language.
