Lara Clayton, LMFTAbout

Lara is a licensed marriage and family therapist at Ohana. She has been in the mental health field for more than 20 years, earning her bachelor’s degree in collaborative human services from California State University, Monterey Bay, a master’s degree in public administration from Golden Gate University, and a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. Lara has worked in local non-profit agencies providing mental health services in both direct care and leadership roles, to include treatment of mild to severe mental illness, trauma, and addiction medicine. She moved to California from Illinois when she was in middle school and deeply values her family from coast to coast. Lara enjoys working on her home and believes to learn is to grow, and to grow is to heal.
