Diane Sobkowicz, MD, FACC, is the medical director of Cardiac Rehabilitation at Tyler Heart Institute and director of Lipid Services at Montage Medical Group (prevention of heart disease through cholesterol management). Prior to relocating to the Monterey area in 2017, she served as the Director of the Women’s Heart Program at Sutter Heart and Vascular Institute and was past board president for the Sacramento Chapter of the American Heart Association. Dr. Sobkowicz served as the Physician Champion for the Go Red for Women movement for over 15 years in the Sacramento area. Dr. Sobkowicz graduated from Medical College of Pennsylvania, and was chief resident while completing her internal medicine residency at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. She was chief cardiology fellow during her echocardiography fellowship at Southern California Permanente Medical Center in Los Angeles. She is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, and lipidology. She is currently accepting new patients to the Lipid Services Clinic at Montage Medical Group.
