Dragan Dimitrov, MD, is a board-certified neurosurgeon with more than two decades of experience treating neurosurgical patients on the Monterey Peninsula. He earned his medical degree from New York University and completed his neurosurgery residency at Duke University Medical Center. Dr. Dimitrov is the medical director of the Montage Health/University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) neurosurgery program. He recently joined the UCSF faculty as a professor of neurosurgery in the department of neurosurgery at the UCSF Weill Institute of Neurosciences. His practice is located in Monterey, and he is a medical staff member at Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula and Salinas Valley Health Medical Center.
