Murtuza “Mars” Gunja, MD, attended Brown University as an undergraduate. He worked in the education and nonprofit fields before attending St. George’s University School of Medicine. He completed his residency training in psychiatry at Mt. Sinai West/Morningside Hospitals in New York City, and a fellowship in public psychiatry at Columbia University in New York. Dr. Gunja is board-certified in psychiatry. He has extensive experience working with underserved communities and enjoys taking a patient-centered and collaborative approach to mental health. Personal interests include art, photography, exercise, and the outdoors.
