Peter Andreas Michas-Martin, MD, is a native Californian and a board-certified neurologist by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan and worked in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries before earning his medical degree at New York Medical College. He returned to his native California for an internship at Alameda County Medical Center, a University of California, San Francisco affiliate, in Oakland. Dr. Michas-Martin then attended the University of Colorado's neurology residency program and then completed a fellowship there in movement disorders, specializing in Parkinson's disease. He takes a comprehensive and thoughtful approach to care of patients and their families, incorporating a multidisciplinary approach, leading-edge therapies, and tools that encourage patients to thrive.
