Monterey, CA, November 4, 2025 — Aspire Health, a community-rooted collaboration between Montage Health and Salinas Valley Health, is pleased to announce the appointment of Bob Bush as its new Chief Executive Officer. A seasoned insurance executive with more than 25 years of experience across the health and property and casualty sectors, Bush brings a deep commitment to community health and a proven track record of transformative leadership. Bush is excited to begin his work with the team on November 20.

Bush most recently served as President and CEO of CommunityCare Managed Healthcare Plans of Oklahoma, a provider-owned health plan backed by Saint Francis Health System and Ascension St. John that covered 116,000 members. Prior to his leadership in Oklahoma, Bush held key roles at Strongwood Insurance Holdings Corp. and its subsidiary, Sequoia Insurance, where he lived and worked in Monterey County. His return to the Central Coast marks a meaningful homecoming for the Bush family.

“Aspire Health has a bold vision for what healthcare should be — preventative, deeply connected to the community it serves, and built around improving lives,” said Bush. “I’m honored to join this mission-driven organization and excited to improve the lives of our members by building upon a system that always puts people first and provides care locally.”

He added, “We have a unique opportunity to align local providers, payers, and partners around a shared vision for healthcare that not only addresses illness but champions lifelong health and wellness.”

Outside of work, Bush enjoys spending time with his wife, Erin, and their three children, the youngest of whom is a senior in high school. “Being an active family, we have always loved Monterey County and its unequaled natural beauty and look forward to being back in the area,” said Bush.

Aspire Health is dedicated to achieving better health outcomes for all community members by addressing social determinants of health and weaving preventative care into the fabric of Monterey County’s healthcare ecosystem. Its core business areas include health insurance plans — including a Medicare Advantage plan — healthcare administrative services, and health and wellness programs. All services are managed by local professionals with a vested interest in the well-being of their neighbors.
Guided by its brand promise of better health for everyone, Aspire Health is committed to improving patient care and experience, reducing healthcare costs, and advancing health equity across the region.
