MONTEREY, CA — Montage Health is pleased to announce that Monterey Spine & Joint (MSJ), a renowned provider of comprehensive musculoskeletal and neurosurgical care in Monterey County, is joining the Montage Health family of services. Beginning April 28, 2025, the practice will operate under the name Montage Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, continuing its longstanding tradition of providing exceptional care to the local community.

The practice also offers integrated services such as physical and occupational therapy, orthopedic urgent care, and provider visits, all conveniently located at an 11,000-square-foot facility in Ryan Ranch.
The integration of MSJ into Montage Health represents a thoughtful response to challenges faced by independent physician practices nationwide. With reductions in insurance reimbursements and rising operational costs, many specialty practices find it increasingly difficult to remain independent. Recognizing these pressures, MSJ approached Montage Health to explore a partnership that would safeguard the future of orthopedic care in Monterey County.
