Program structure designed for you

You’ll appreciate how our 11-month residency program fits into your daily workflow. As a full-time employee with benefits you'll spend approximately 33 hours per week in direct patient care. The balance of your schedule will include didactic learning, reflection, and skill-building through readings, labs, and teaching.

Manageable weekly schedule

Your four-day workweek gives you time to study, attend seminars, and rest. You’ll treat patients one-on-one in 40-minute sessions and assume learning at a pace that is sensitive to work-life balance.

One-on-one mentorship

You’ll meet with mentors twice a week to discuss patient care and sharpen your clinical reasoning. Plus, you’ll reflect on patient cases asynchronously, gaining more insight with each experience. You’ll exceed the minimum 150 mentored hours before you finish.

Learn alongside our in-house physicians, observing clinical, surgical, and procedural care. Our shared EMR makes it easy to stay connected and provide coordinated treatment.

Lead and present like a pro

You’ll run journal clubs, lead patient case rounds, and complete a scholarly project that will be ready and eligible for publication or presentation at a professional conference.

Serve your community

We partner with two professional dance companies to offer pro-bono care, so you’ll gain hands-on experience treating artist-athletes. Serving underserved populations is central to your work as a physical therapist, and we’ll help you live that mission.
