Happy hearts: February babies born at Community Hospital
Babies born in our Family Birth Center during the month of February are given red hats to raise awareness of congenital heart defects, the most common birth defect in the United States. The Family Birth Center routinely screens every newborn for heart defects.
Community Hospital's red baby hats are knitted by members of the Montage Health Auxiliary, and community members, who volunteer through Montage Health Foundation.
