“Urology was the first specialty to utilize robotics, then gynecology, and now general surgery. It really has taken a foothold,” says Dr. Harsha Mittakanti, a Montage Medical Group urologist.
Montage Health has recently made it possible for patients to receive this high-level treatment here in Monterey. “Patients can essentially get tertiary-level care locally. Not all places can offer that,” Mittakanti says.
